Heres how to get the Biggoron Sword through the trade sequence. Remember to plant a magic bean at the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern. It is possible but very hard to complete the task without planting that magic bean. It also helps a lot to have learned the Sun Song. The sequence is done with Adult Link. You also must have beaten the Ice Cavern. Also, if you warp using one of the Ocarina songs and are under a Time Limit, the Time Limit will expire and you will have to go back and start that step again.
Step 1: Pocket Cucco- To get the Pocket Cucco, talk to the Cucco lady in Kakariko Villiage. She will give you the Pocket Egg.
Step 2: Cojiro- You can speed up the Pocket Eggs's growth by playing the Sun Song you can wait one day for the egg to hatch. A Pocket Cucco will hatch.
When entering Kakariko Villiage, go to the the house to your left. Talon will be sleeping there. Wake him up with the Pocket Cucco. Then go talk to the Cucco Lady and show her the Pocket Cucco. She will give you Cojiro.
Step 3: The Odd Mushroom-With Cojiro, go to the Lost Woods. Upon entering, take a left and you will see a man. Show him Cojiro and he will exchange it for an Odd Mushroom, for you to bring to the Old Hag Lady in Kakariko Village in under 3:00 minutes.
Step 4: The Odd Potion- To get the Odd Potion, go to Kakariko Villiage with the Odd Mushroom during the day. Go to the Potion's Shop and go out through the back door. Then go to the brick building out back and walk up the tiny staircase into the shop. Show the owner the Odd Mushroom. She will fix up the Odd Potion and tell you to bring it back to the man.
Step 5: The Poachers Saw- Though you have no time limit on getting back to the man, No matter how fast you ride on Empona, he will be gone. You will find a Kokiri Child in his place. Show the child the potion and she'll take it and give you the Poacher's Saw.
Step 6: The Broken Biggoron Sword- To get the Broken Biggoron Sword, go to Gerudo Valley. Hookshot across the gap or charge full-speed at it with Empona. Go to the tent and find the Head-Carpenter. Give him the Poacher's Saw and he'll give you the Broken Biggoron Sword.
Step 7: The Perscription- To get the Perscription, go ride to the top of Death Mountain and see Biggoron. Show him the Broken Biggoron Sword. He will reconise his craft-work but tell you he can't fix it because when Death Mountain erupted, he hurt his eyes. He will then give you the Perscription and tell you to go see King Zora.
Part 8: The Eye-ball Frog- To get the Eye-ball Frog, go to Zora's Domain and talk to King Zora. You should have melted him by now with the Blue Fire from the Ice Cavern. Show him the Perscription and he will give you the Eye-ball Frog. He sends you to go to the Scientist Guy at Lake Hylia. But you must be quick because the Eye-ball Frog is perishable!
Step 9: The World's Finest Eyedrops- To get the Eyedrops for Biggoron, ride quickly to Lake Hylia before the Time Limit runs out. Show the scientist the Eye-ball Frog. After getting over the disapointment of not being able to make Frog Eyeballs for dinner, he will make you the World's Finest Eyedrops. Now take them quickly to Biggoron before the Time Limit runs out!
Step 10: The Claim Check- Ride on Empona as quickly as you can back to Death Mountain. Here is where planting that Magic Bean really pays off. Jump on the Magic Bean Stalk outside of Dodongo's Cavern and let it transport you up the mountain. Run the remainder of the way to Biggoron. If you didn't plant the Magic Bean in that soft soil spot, you must make the most of every second and run like crazy to beat the time limit. Give the Eyedrops to Biggoron and he will give you the Claim Check. You will have to wait three days and nights for the Biggoron Sword to be made.
The Biggoron Sword- Play the Sun Song if you've learned it to pass the three days. Or just wait the duration of three days in the game. Either way, at the end of three days and three nights, approach Biggoron and show the Claim Check. He will give you one of the finest weapons in the game, The Biggoron Sword. This sword will not break and deals double the amount of damage that the Master Sword does. The only disadvantage is that it is so big that you can't use your shield while the Biggoron Sword is equiped.
