Majora's Mask: Boss Guide

Odolwa:Masked Jungle Warrior

This boss is incredibly easy, but really annoying. (saying the same phrase over and over again does that) Anyway, he's pretty easy to beat. His attacks consist of a giant sword, which has a long range, a swarm of bats, an army of bugs (one hit kills), and a ring of fire, which he will cast around you to stop you from reaching him. Just be patient. When he's jumping around, approach him with your shield up and attack. Sometime he will start dancing (don't ask), and then he is easily approached and hit with the sword. a good 7 or 9 swipes with the sword should take care of him.

Ghot: Masked Mechanical Monster

When you first walk into the boss room, Ghot will be frozen. Shoot a fire arrow at him to start the battle. For the entire battle, you will need to be Goron Link. Ghot will be running on a continuos circuit in the boss room. Roll up and follow him. To quickly go into the spike form, roll on the snow banked up on the walls, as there are less obstructions there. His attacks include an energy beam (which is notoriously accurate) and rocks, which he kicks up from the ground. Both will stop you in your tracks, so avoid them. After 12 hits, he will speed up, and large pointed rocks will fall from the ceiling, these happen to get in the way a lot so try to avoid them as well. Pick up magic jars while rolling as needed. After 30 hits in your spiked goron form, you'll emerge victorious.

Gyorg: Gargantuan Masked Fish

Gyorg is a fish, and your battle will take place underwater, and that means its zora time. Gyorgs main attack is eating you...and he's quite skillful at sneaking up behind you for his size. Being eaten does a great deal of damage (3 hearts), so be careful. As a zora, you can press and hold B to get some boomerang action from your fins. Gyorgs weak point is his gills, so aim your fins at them. If you find that this isn't working swim around holding Z to put a magic shield up (there are magic pots in the corners) and then swim into his side (avoiding his mouth). After 6 or so hits, Gyorg will send out his little pirhanna friends. They're more pesky than dangerous, but avoid them nontheless, and keep an eye out for Gyorg. After attacking Gyorg several more times, he will er...die.

Twinmold: Giant Masked Insect

Since Twinmold is a giant, you'll need the giants mask for this. It is highly advisable to bring along a green potion and have the double magic bar(great fairy from snowhead's gift), as the giants mask uses magic, though an occassional magic jar may pop out from some debris Twinmold makes. All you need is your sword now that your a giant, which makes this boss relatively easy. Each of the two insect's heads are it's weakness, so aim for it when they pop out of the ground. Also, the yellow gem on its tail is a weakness as well, so aim for that when they are going into the ground. When you are hit, one heart will be taken away, so just avoid them, and attack. 6 or 7 hits apiece will do Twinmold in.

Majora's mask

As you enter the final boss chamber, the 4 boss remains will attach to the walls, and Majora's Mask will awaken. Before confronting the final boss, I suggest stocking up on fairies, arrows, and magic, (chatuea from the Milk Bar if possible). Majora's Mask can be of medium difficulty or really hard, depending on your tactics. First off, put your shield up to deflect it's spinning attacks if they ever get you off guard. Try and stay close to Majora's mask, because when it starts revving up for it's attack, that's when you slash it's backside.(Any assault on the front will fail) After hitting it's backside, it will collapse on the floor, hit it as much as you can before it recovers. After this, it will be more wary. Back yourself into a corner, and do not Z target it. Keep your shield up, and start doing the quick B jabs behind your shield. When Majora's Mask rolls on top of you to attack, jab it to lower it's defenses and to hit it again. Now the 4 remains of the monsters will come into play. You don't have to defeat them, just avoid them as they shoot energy balls at you. Now back yourself into the corner and ihit Majora's mask again like you did before. After you do this several more times, Majora's mask will try shooting fire beams at you. Deflect it with your Mirror Shield, and stick to your sit and wait strategy. Hitting it once or twice more will make it transform into the next phase.

Majora's Incarnation

Majora's mask now has legs arms, and is rather quick on its feet. Kind of like Ghot, eh? Except this guys a tad easier. Stand in front of his path, while avoiding the other masks attacks, and hit the Incarnation with your sword. Keep hitting him until he falls, and then hit him again. Once he gets on his feet and hops in pain, hit him again as much as you can. Eventually, he'll get away from you and do his energy beam attack, where he shoots rapid fire attacks at you, which can be deflected by your mirror shield. Apparently, it has a sense of humor, as it will taunt you by stopping and running just as you catch up with it. When it starts doing the Can Can (Crossing it's arms and running around with kicks) stand it's path and slice it down again. Keep hitting it. Around now it should transform again. If not, then repeat the process.

Majora's Wrath
Woah! It has head now! Majora's Wrath has 2 large, dangerous whips. I've found two strategies that work. You best should read both before trying one....1) As a human, keep your shield up. When it stops it's rain of attacks, shoot an arrow at it. Then rush in and attack it. Once it recovers, put up your shield. Then, when there's another lull in it's attacks, shoot an arrow at it again. Do this around 2 more times, and Majora's Wrath will start getting serious. He'll increase his barrage, and even wrap his whips around you and toss you around with them. Make the most of his attack lulls, or you could easily die. Now, the remains of the other bosses have started dropping little spinning tops of death, that will explode eventually, making the room a potential mine field. However, these mines will also hit Majora's Wrath at times, which makes it interesting. Keep using your hit and attack with the arrows and sword strategy, and after a few more attacks, you will have defeated Majora's Wrath!
2) If at any time you run out of arrows, you still can defeat Majora's Wrath. If you have gotten the Chatuea Romani from the Milk Bar, you will have unlimited magic. Therefore, transform into Zora Link and put up your shield, holding B for the Nayru's Love effect. Walk towards Majora's Wrath, and eventually, your magical shield will hit him when you get close enough. If he becomes stunned, attack him. Repeat this process to beat Majora's Wrath. What's even better, if he tries to wrap his tentacles around you, the magic shield will stop him. However, this strategy may not work if you don't have the Chatuea, so you may need to break open the jars with magic in them in the room for more magic. However, arrows and/or magic are crucial either way to defeating Majora's Wrath.
