Majora's Mask: Bottle Guide

Here is a guide on how to get all 6 of the bottles in Majora's Mask.

Bottle 1:This bottle is gotten rather early in the game. Go to the Southern Swamp in Termini, and follow the white Monkey along the path. Keep on following it until you come to Kotake the witch. She asks for a red potion. Go back to the witches hut and talk to Koume, her twin. She will give you a bottle along with the red potion in it. Go give your potion to Kotake, and keep the bottle after she is revived.

Bottle 2:After defeating Goht in the Snowhead temple, and restoring spring to the land, buy a powder keg for 50 rupees at the bomb shop in West Clock Town. Go to the Mountain Village, and then go down the path towards Goron Village. When you come to the area of bridges and tiny islands, find a slope at the beggining of the bridges. Walk up the slopes, and you will find a large rock and the crybaby goron. Blow up the boulder with your powder keg, and follow the baby goron in to the Goron Races. Now all you have to do is talk to the baby goron and enter the race, free of charge. The race can be made hard as long as you remember a few things. First of all, never trust your magic meter, chances are someone will take the majic jug when you really need it, so always take them when you see them. Also, on the final stretch where you spiral down, stay glued to the inside wall. You avoid contact and shorten you racing distance. This move often is the decision between victory and defeat. After you have won, you will win a new bottle full of golden dust. (for making a Gilded Sword at the blacksmiths)

Bottle 3:Once you have the Zora Mask and the hookshot, go to the Great Bay Coast. Go through the tunnel towards Zora Cape. Once you go through the tunnel, follow the river upstream until you come to a log. Jump up on it and hookshot onto the nearest tree. Once you have hookshotted all the way up to the top, go into the cave. You will find a beaver's lodge. Swim towards the beaver, until he goes all the way to the bottom of the lake. Put on your zora mask and drift down to him. Then talk to him. Race him, going through 20 rings in 2:00. This task his rather easy, as it gives you plenty of manueverability. Once you complete the race, his older brother will challenge you. Race the same course, only this time with 25 rings. This time you need a little more manuevering, but still it is easy. Complete it for a empty bottle.

Bottle 4:Go to West Clock Town on the First Day to the bomb shop and buy a Powder Keg as A Goron for 50 rupees. Then go to Milk Road, and blow up the giant boulder blocking the entrance to Romani Ranch. Go into the ranch, and go towards the houses. Talk to the girl, Romani, and volunteer to help her beat the ghosts. Complete her training session (which is laughably easy), and then wait until around 2 AM at night. Shortly after, the aliens will begin their barrage. You will be on horse back throughout this trial, so you will be able to move quickly. The goal is to not let the aliens in the barn. I admit, this trial can be rather hard. Make sure to keep an eye on your radar. The white dots are the advancing aliens. If one gets too close to the barn, kill it quickly with an arrow. If you need more ammo, there are hoards of arrows in the shrubs and in every alien you kill. Hold off the ghosts until 5:15 AM to get an empty bottle as a reward from Romani.

Bottle 5:You need the Captains Hat to get this bottle, as well as a bow. Go to the Ikana Graveyard on the night of the final day with the Captains Hat on, and go to the Skull Kids patrolling around a grave. Tell them to open the grave, and then you jump in. Now take off your mask, and go into the main floor and talk to Dampey the gravekeeper. He will need you to keep light on him to see. z-Targeting him is the best way to keep Tatls light on him. Lead him to the dirt patches, and have him dig them up. If he steps on a brown platform, go up a ladder or giant block steps to get where he will be. and keep the light on him once he arrives where you are. Have him dig up the ground until you find 3 blue lights. Then they will merge into a Big Poe, which will attack. Big Poe isn't much of a challenge though. When ever he spins at you, deflect it with your shield. 4 arrows will knock this Poe out, leaving you with a treasure chest containing another empty bottle!

Bottle 6:This bottle is gotten near the end of the Anju/Kafei quest. You need to Romani Mask and Kafei mask to get it. After receiving the Priority Mail from the Curiosity Shop owner, wait until night time and the Final Countdown begin. When the countdown starts, use you Romani Mask to enter the Milk Bar. Then put on your Kafei Mask and talk to Moma(Madame Aroma). Hand her the Priority Mail, and she will give you a brand new bottle filled to the brim with Chatuea!
