Heh, I've finally gotten around to putting this page up, which shows you the quite lengthy Anju and Kafei quest to get the Couple's Mask!
Items Required-Kafei Mask, bottle, Stone Mask, Garo's Mask, Hookshot,
Day: 1
< 3 P.M. > At approximately 3 P.M., enter the Stock Pot Inn in East Clock Town. Walk up to Anju at the desk, and talk to her. When she asks if you have a room, say yes. She will give you a room key. (You can use the key to get into the room on second floor, which has 100 rupees in a chest in it.) Then wait around until...
< 4 P.M. > Around this time, a goron (which coincidentally has your name) arrives at the Inn. If you talk to either of them, you will hear their conversation. After the Goron departs (4:30 P.M.), put on the Kafei mask(for info on how to get the mask, go to our Mask Guide). Talk to Anju with the mask on, and she will ask to meet you at 11 P.M. in the kitchen. Feel free to spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure, just be sure to go into the Stock Pot Inn before closing time[8:30 PM]. (If you miss closing time, you can always transform into a Deku Scrub, and then fly from your flower to the top floor, which isn't locked.)
< 11 P.M. > Apparently, Anju isn't very punctual, because she actually gets into the kitchen around 12:00. Anyway, talk to her then in the kitchen and agree to help her. She will then give you a letter. You can do 2 things with this letter:
-Give it to the hand in the Inn's restroom for a Heart Piece. However, you must do the quest all over again, as you lose the letter if you do this.
-Put it in the nearest mailbox as soon as possible. If you wait to long, the quest could be ruined.
Day: 2
< 2 P.M. > At 2 P.M. Be at the laundry pool in Clock Town. You can get to the Laundry Pool by the entrance after the staircase in South Clock Town. Ring the bell next to the bridge with your sword. A boy in a Keaton Mask comes out. Remember where he comes out, and walk over there. Wait for a little while until the Post Man comes with the Mail around 3 P.M.. He will ring the bell, and the boy will come out again, leaving the door behind him unlocked. Go into the door and wait there for the boy to return. Upon his return, talk to him. He will take off his mask, showing him to be....Kafei! After a brief discussion, he will give you his Pendant of Memories, to be delivered to Anju. Now deliver it quickly to Anju.
Day: 3
< 1 P.M. > Once again, go to the laundry pool at 1 PM. Enter Kafei's house, which will now be unlocked. If you Go to where you first talked to Kafei, you only find Kafei isn't there. Instead, the owner of the curiosity shop is there. Talk to him, and he will tell you that Kafei has run off to capture Sakon, who has stolen Kafei's mask. He will then give you the Keatons Mask and the Priority Mail. The priority mail has two uses:
-You can give it to the Postman at his house in exchange for a Heart Piece.
-If you have Romani's Mask, go into the Milk bar at night and give it to Kafei's Mother (Madame Aroma) for a new bottle full of Chateau.
< 5 P.M. > At 5 P.M., Go to Ikana Canyon. (You need to Garo's Mask to get here, as you need to show a soceror it to get a hookshot grapple to get to the river.) At the giant river in the middle of the place, follow it up by the land path, until you come to a dead end, and Sakon's Hideout's Entrance. There will be 2 boulders stacked on eachother, behind them you will find Kafei. Talk to him and put on your Stone Mask. (Or else Sakon will spot you and run away, ruining the quest.) Wait until around 6 P.M., upon which Sakon will open up his hideout. Kafei will run in, so you have little choice but to do the same.
Inside of the hideout, Kafei will attempt to grab the mask in a cutscene. However, he's rash actions will put the mask on the conveyor belt. You and Kafei will then have to do a tag team action to get the mask. Kafei must go through the doors and step on the blue switches. (red and yellow switches will speed up the conveyor belt) The blue switches will open the door for Link. Link then must defeat a monster to let Kafei advance. Do this until Link comes to a wolfos(which can be defeated by a deku nut and several sword swipes easily). Link will kill it, allowing Kafei to come through the final room. After he steps on the switch, Link can come in and do the same. Then Kafei will get the Sun Mask. He'll run off to go find Anju, leaving you alone at 6 P.M.
< 1 Minute, 10 Seconds > Go to the Stock Pot Inn as soon as Kafei leaves. Go up the stairs and into the first room. Anju will be waiting there, and the final countdown will be running. Wait until around 1 Minute and 10 Seconds to go, and Kafei will come in. They will combine their masks, to form to couples mask, symbolizing their marriage. As a gift to you, their witness, you will recieve the Couple's Mask.
